Chapter 5: Captured

Sari and Charismi walked around the camp. It felt so… empty. Sari walked back inside the cave and put on her sweater, which was still lying on the cave floor. When she walked back outside she saw Charismi running into the woods. “Charismi! Wait! CHARISMI!” Sari shouted, running after her. Following Charismi through thorns and bushes, they finally came to a clearing. Charismi was standing under a tall wooden sign that read DRAGON COUNTRY (Please make sure your dragon is tamed) “Okay,” Sari said, stepping inside next to Charismi. She took a quick look around, while following Charismi. The place looked deserted and in the distance there was a mist. Sari stopped to look at a cabin in the distance. When she turned forward again, Charismi was gone. “Charismi?” Sari called, panic rising in her voice. She looked around franticly. But Charismi had long gone ahead. Suddenly, somebody grabbed her arms and pulled them behind her back. Sari tried to kick her way free but somebody else tied her feet together. Sari screamed, “He-mmff!” but her mouth was covered by a gloved hand. Her captors dragged her along the road to a dark and dusty building. Inside there she saw judges and their cruel faces, but worst of all she saw Charismi laying limp on the table next to her.

Chapter 4: Name and Tame

Sari stepped closer, crouched down and put her hand on the dragon’s head. It was very warm. Sari stroked the dragon form head to tail. As she did this, the dragon made a low hhhmmmmiiiiiisssssssss-ing sound. Suddenly it sneezed-a ball of fire! Sari jumped back, surprised. Of course, she then thought to herself, what else do you expect from a dragon? Sari slowly stood up and walked outside, the dragon in her hands. “You need a name,” she thought, looking at the dragon curled up in her arms. Immediately, she thought of her friend, Charisma. “I know!” She said to the dragon, “I’ll name you Charismi!” Charismi purred to the sound of the name. “It’s a perfect name!” Apparently, Charismi thought so too.
