I walked all over the streets, stepping on more people. I grinned a face of absolute delight. Re-venge! Re-venge! I chanted. But of course, no one could understand me. To people, it sounded like a growl, or a roar. So the Chinese began to scream as they ran. I crawled quickly throughout nearby streets. Gotta make this job quick, or else I'll get caught and killed, like Dwaquel. I stopped. Looking around, I saw many destroyed buildings. (Step two, check!)
I crawled slowly back to Mt.Fuji, dragging my feet. The third step was next. I thought about how I would sleep a good night tonight. My first full sleep in three years.
I started my long climb up the mountain, my claws digging in the grooves. I stopped and smelt the raw meat one last time. And caught the smell of... a human? On the mountain? I froze, and remebered Dwaquel. They could be trying to hunt me down. Oh yeah, I forgot, quietly... But wait, I smell... one human? Only one? Weird. Don't people need reinforcement? Especially when a dragon is your opponent, but, oh well. One human couldn't do that much harm. I'd just kill them when I got there and be done with it. Easy.
(>vv<)
I stalked the human. I could clearly see it was a girl. She was rummaging through my cave, looking for something. After a few seconds, she shouted, "Ah-ha!" and held up a scale. Dwaquel's scale. It was the only thing I had left to remember Dwaquel.
I growled in rage and forgot to keep quiet. The girl turned around in surprise. Her face lit up in delight. What? Why in the world is she smiling?
"Because I'm happy." the girl said, answering.
You can understand me? I growled, (I was still mad about her touching Dwaquel's scale.)
"Yeah; weird, huh? I thought people couldn't understand dragons."
I shook my head. This is madness, you're not supposed to understand me! And put Dwaquel's scale down!
"Oh, this?" she held up Dwaquel's scale. "I was gonna take it, but if it's that special to you, I'll put it away." The mysterious girl placed it back in the cave. "Oh, and who's Dwaquel? Is he here?" She looked around, then looked back at me.
I turned me head, facing the other way. What should I tell her? He-
"It's okay if you don't wanna tell me," the girl said, smiling, "By the way, my name's Ganryu. Fancy meeting a dragon like you. Tell me, can you breathe green fire?"
I stared at her, surprised at how easily she changed the subject. Ummm, yeah... I am the green fire dragon after all.
"Cool!" Ganryu shouted, "So, friends? As dragon and dragon rider?"
Dragon rider? I barely knew this girl, and she wanted to ride me?
"Yep, we'll go on awesome adventures, c'mon." she pleaded.
Okay... I shrugged, then nodded.
Oh sweet! And I think Mt. Fuji is in Japan, not China...
