Chapter 16: Ryuunosuke

I grinned, and high-fived Muri. "A-hahahahaha!" I laughed, "You should have seen the look on your faces when we came along." I stared at Sari and Ayumu, who looked, disappointed. Sari was glaring at me frowning, while Ayumu sighed, and smiled a little.

"You little brat!" Sari spat out, "You could've told me it was you! Or else I wouldn't have cried like that."

"No ways." Muri said, shaking his finger at Sari. "The enemy would've found out. It was a good show."

"Of course!" I joked, "We always put on a great show, don't we, brother?"

"You got that right!" Muri replied happily.

Sari

"Okay," I grumbled, clearly disappointed, "What's the story here? Tell. Me. Now." I growled, glaring at Hemu and Muri.

"What story?" Hemu inquired, tilting his head slightly.

"Don't act innocent on me, Hemu. You know what I'm talking about." I pushed, giving Hemu the most menacing glare I could muster. I least I thought it was menacing.

Hemu laughed, holding his hands to his sides. "You mean when we dissappered in the morning?" Hemu suddenly became serious, "We didn't run away, we were kidnapped."

"Really and truly?" I asked, gasping.

"For real. These people came and stuffed us in bags. They carried us away and locked us up in these woods. But thanks to our super powers and cunningness, and also thanks to Ryuunosuke here, we managed to escape." Hemu explain, gesturing to Ryuunosuke, who had held Ayumu captive earlier.

"Hey there," Ryuunosuke waved, smiling, "Just call me Ryuu for short, ok?"

"Sure thing Ryuu!" I said, and Ayumu nodded.
